My Spine Doctor Recommended It!

Buy this now if you have neck problems! This is my second purchase of this pillow. I wore my last one out. I bought my last one 2y ago after neck surgery, at the recommendation of my spinal dr. The one thing I like about this pillow is the warranty of 370 days. Even though I purchased my last pillow on Amazon, they honored it.
*The new updates on this pillow are: a softer cover, stronger memory foam, and a snap system if you would like to have the pillow stay in place and not lose it during the night or around the house or office. I’ve used the snaps for sleep and loved it one night, and not another. Personally, I prefer to not use them at night. The snaps make it feel more like a cervical collar. I love the new carrying case. I’ve been using it as a purse for going to events that require clear bags. I’ve always used my neck sofa bag for travel. It makes it convenient for travel, and an additional place to put stuff.

Good for (some) folks with Ehlers Danlos.

I have hEDS. Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I have over the last 20 years bought many many supports, braces, heating pads, ice packs, etc. etc. for pretty much every joint in my entire body. I get hurt All. The. Time! I didn’t know I had EDS until very recently when other health systems besides my joints (always a problem for me) began to also “fall apart”. Previously I’d thought my many many injuries were somehow MY fault, but now I understand it’s that my collagen in my connective tissues (which are in joints, skin, fascia, organs, literally everywhere in the body!) is faulty. The faulty collagen structure is why my body has always sustained injury from minor everyday things. For example, I have many times thrown out joints while sleeping, or my back or shoulder goes out just getting milk out of the fridge.

Anyhow, recently my cervical spine began having major issues, and though I’ve definitely not got everything “righted”, and caring for a body with this disorder is a lifelong endeavor filled with continued medical office visits, injury and pain… this neck support IS very helpful.

Pros:
Soft – the memory foam is comfortable and the velour covers are pleasant to the neck and face.
Supportive – the plastic structure inside makes this soft cushion much more supportive than a traditional neck pillow.
Variable – this cushion can be used in a variety of positions, which means you can find a way to be comfy while laying, sitting and standing. Not each position may work for each person, as body shapes vary, but you will likely find comfort in this pillow in a variety of ways.
Washable cover – this is a must and it’s pretty easy to get on and off, but do be careful not to tear the foam with the zipper. I find slipping my hand in between the cushion and the pillow helps prevent any catching. I want mine to last!
Covers available for separate purchase! – Makes it super easy to always have a clean cover on there when you have an extra on hand! May need to go to their website if out of stock on Amazon, but I love that they have them separate.
Great for travel – although I use mine mostly around the house, I’ve also worn it on dog walks and traveling in the car to provide support when my neck hurts most. I plan to take it on a trip to visit family soon and know I will be glad to have it on hand.
Durable – I’ve had mine for a little less than a year and I wash the covers all the time. Aside from the stray pet hairs it gets on it (Kitty I’m looking at you!) it really looks like new. No tears or worn spots. No change in support or shape that I can tell.

Cons:

Pricy – but honestly looking at quality memory foam items, and medical items, this isn’t a crazy high price. The item is well designed and manufactured. The foam and cover look and feel and wear as though very well made. So although most of us mortals must think about cost, and this isn’t “cheap”, it’s worth the cost if you need neck support. Would LOVE to see this as a FSA/HSA friendly purchase though!
One size only – I’m 5’5” and 135 – 140 lbs. I wear mediums most of the time. I’ve got a medium and shortish neck, and if this were any tighter it may not be so comfy. I think large women or men may find this too tight and it is not at all adjustable. I very much think the company should consider making a larger size to help a wider range of people because the product is fantastic- if it fits.

I love this support pillow. It’s helped me feel more comfortable when my body is so prone to injury and discomfort due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Although the size may not work for you, and I encourage everyone to be careful and listen to their body for pain, I highly recommend this as something to at least be tried if you have a neck injury. Also, consider taking it to your doctor’s office. I had the neurological chiropractor look at mine to be sure she thought it was safe. Never hurts to be careful!

Great feel and fit, very comfortable.

Great neck support. Love it. Very expensive but comes in a nice clear plastic reusable backpack, is extremely soft and cushy and supports my neck well. I’ve been needing something to help stabilize my neck when I’m on my laptop or sitting on the couch and this is it! I can’t wait to travel with it.

Very well made, reinforced neck collar. I really like it, but it seems a bit small and I’m only a small person. I would imagine it’s extremely tight for men and bigger people. Otherwise it’s nice, soft, durable and can be used in many positions. There’s a chart included showing you the many ways it can be used and both sides of the collar can be used (by turning it upside down).

Helps stop teeth grinding while I sleep.

I was having pain from clenching my teeth while I slept. The beginning of TMJ, which my dentist said will only get worse. I purchased this pillow based on a review of a similar issue. My pain is completely gone. I love this pillow. It goes with me while traveling too. If this keeps the TMJ from getting worse, or at the least, slows down the progression, it is more than worth the money. I have not had a jaw lock or crack since I started using this pillow.

I absolutely loved it then and I still feel the same way. I have slept with my Neck Sofa® pillow every night for the past year and a half. I don’t travel. I bought this because my neck hurts 24/7 and I was going to get a soft neck brace to sleep in. This is so much more versatile. With this I can actually sleep on my back for the first time in years also.

I have chronic sever neck and upper back pain. As a RN I’m constantly moving and doing things to aggravate it even more. I use this on top of my electric heating pad and it keeps it in place and allows me to press the hearing pad exactly where I need it to. This is the second purchase. My oldest son took it and used it while doing the online learning. He said it really help him to be more comfortable while sitting in front of the computer all day. He even used it behind his back as like a lumbar pillow.

I LOVE my neck sofa. I sleep on my back and prefer a fairly flat pillow. My head was always rolling to the side . I was using a fiber-filled neck pillow. I woke several times in the night to re-adjust the pillow. The neck sofa gives me excellent support. I sleep through the night and wake refreshed.

Great Product! A classic example of “You get what you pay for”. Priced accurately for the quality of the product. Keeps my 84 year old mom from falling asleep when reading and starring straight up at the stars. Instead the high neck support keeps head from tilting back which use to lead to snoring from constricted breathing. Aww, quite healthy comfort at its finest! She now appears to be in heaven!

WOW! I just tried the neck pillow.

Pre-COVID, I flew a lot. Still travel in the car. As a passenger, this is exceptional. I turn it, and my neck doesn’t fall forward.

The pillow was pricey, at $79, but I think worth it. It’s soft but firm, and I love it!

I have half a mind to get a second one for a 30 min guided meditation (which can turn into a snooze) at lunch. Relaxing helps get me ready for the intensely busy second half of my workday. I’ll grab mine from the car in the morning and see how effective it is.

Love my neck sofa!
This is the 3rd Neck Sofa that I’ve purchased. One was for my husband which he loves. The other two have been for me and I use them everyday. One is on my bed and the other on the coach. They are very comfortable and the covers are washable so they stay fresh and soft. This last one has snaps and a belt which is handy if traveling.

Just what my neck needed
With lots of arthritis in my neck from a lifetime of falls from horses, my neck hurts every day. Certain activities aggravate it more, but this structured neck support pillow supports it perfectly. Fantastic invention!

After using my Neck Sofa for a several months I have to say that I am impressed with its unique features and how my head is well supported. I use it mainly when I travel. It’s maybe not the smallest pillow but the comfort I get from it is well worth it.

Nice Improvement – To be totally frank, this is NOT the be-all-and-end-all of pillow, but it is a vast improvement over the daily wrestle with pillows to achieve a semblance of comfort. As an added “bonus”, when I am watching TV with my earbuds in I found that this li’l devil keeps the buds from popping out whenever I move my head…serendipitous, yes, but a welcome plus.

I purchased the neck pillow about a month ago. So far I am loving it! I am prone to migraines (hereditary) and also live with chronic neck and shoulder pain and wake up with pain almost every morning. I have tried every pillow out there. So i was not too hopeful about the neck sofa. But want to try anything that would help me with the pain rather than rely on over the counter pain killers. I sleep with the neck pillow every night. I have woken up pain free since using it.

The added benefit is, sleeping in my back is supposed to slow down wrinkles. Horray!!! I have also taken it on 3, 5 hour road trips. I place the neck pillow between shoulder blades (but you can place it anywhere that feels comfortable) or closer to right shoulder blade. I would be in pain for several days after road trip. But no more. Whoever created this neck pillow is a genius! Highly recommended!!

I love this pillow!
This is the best pillow I have ever owned. I have severe neck pain due it arthritis. Using this pillow has been a lifesaver especially while riding in a car. It molds around my neck and completely stops the jarring from potholes, speed bumps, etc. I also use this pillow when reading…excellent comfort!

Amazing Neck Pain Relief
My daughter has MS and suffers from serious neck pain. We are constantly adding, taking away, sizing to fit pillows under her head because without them she is in such pain all she can do is cry.

I saw this pillow and decided to buy it and see how if it would work for her. She has had the pillow for 3 weeks now and not once has we put any other pillow under her head. It works so well i am buying a second for fear it will disappear. All I know is it works and if you are suffering from neck pain you will not be disappointed.

Supportive but really soft!
First, it comes in really nice packaging and is so much softer than I thought it would be. I got my first one of these for the support structure inside but it has this cushion that shapes to your face or head. The best place for this is on a plane especially if you are in a middle seat! Also I imagine if you have a neck injury the support is definitely there.

Just ordered one for my Mom since I feel guilty being this comfortable and not sharing it with her. Definite recommend if you’ve ever been disappointed by those really floppy, unsupportive pillows you see in every airport.

5 Stars Game changer
I actually bought this neck sofa for the first time at a conference a couple of years ago and I LOVE it.
I have used it regularly since then (2+ years) and it has held up very nicely.

It replaced this awful neck roll my chiropractor had me buy from his office. This is now my primary pillow for sleeping at night. I use it for travel as well – it’s light, portable, and easy to pack. Works really well on long haul flights/trains/bus/car rides.

So much better than a bunch of the top rated Amazon travel pillows – I’ve bought/tried them all! After spending hundreds of $dollars on 7 other pillow brands, I gave in and purchased a second Neck Sofa for my husband… he keeps stealing mine.

Pros: Removable and machine washable cover High quality, soft fabric Excellent quality memory foam and durable inner frame Encourages ‘C-curve’ Softer than foam rolls but more supportive than most memory foam roll pillows Keeps you on your back when you sleep – help prevent side and stomach sleeping, which can lead to wrinkles and blemishes! 😉

Cons: Not a lot of colors No extra cover No handle strap on pillow No form fitting travel case Zipper pull is a bit bulky and zipper has caught my hair on occasion.

I took my neck sofa on a long trip to Thailand, it was wonderful! I slept the whole way there and missed my meal. On the way back there was a teenager sitting in the aisle seat next to me that was trying to sleep on his lap, poor guy. I really wanted to lend him my neck sofa but I only had one, wish I had 2 with me. Amazingly great neck pillow that worked better than any pillow that I have ever used.

Mom loves it! My mom is 87 and has been contending with neck pain for years. She loves the neck sofa. I know there are other neck cushions out there, but this one is really well constructed and supports my mom’s neck, which is long. I recommend!

I use to wake up most mornings with neck and shoulder stiffness and soreness. Back in November I purchased the “Neck Sofa” on a recommendation from a friend. I started sleeping with it and initially it felt a little tight around my neck. After a few nights I found a very comfortable position and started waking up in the morning without neck or shoulder pain.

I have used this pillow every night since I purchased it in November. I love it! I switch between sleeping on my side and back and this pillow works in both positions. I’ve also used it on long flights across the country and am very happy with it. My husband also has one that he uses every night. Love the color choices. Thanks for a great product.

Bought my first Neck Sofa 2 months ago. Use it almost every day on the train ride into the City. Passengers keep asking me where I got it, so I give them the website address. Just ordered one for my Dad as a Christmas gift.

Saw a Neck Sofa flyer at a Trade Show, went to the website, watched the video, looked at the photos and then called to order one. When it arrived I showed it to my wife and she kept it. Had to order another for myself. She has a burgundy, I have a blue and we just relax together by the pool. It simply is the best.

I love it soooo much. Since I started using it, I don’t want to use regular pillows anymore. Now I use Neck Sofa everyday. It’s very comfortable and I’m going to make my sister use it, especially her husband because he travels a lot.

So luxurious. The only pillow I’ve used that actually supports my neck and lets me sleep. Keeps my head up so I can sleep. Everything else promises to support but this is the only one that actually does it. Very sturdy and quality feel too so I don’t feel like it’ll fall apart. Solid product and does what it says!

I purchased the Neck Sofa for my mother who has Motor Neuron Disease (known as ALS in the US). The customer service person was a great help to me personally offering advice and obtaining rates to deliver to my home and following up that the item had arrived. My mother cannot support her head as her neck muscles are not strong enough. The neck sofa has proved to be very comfortable for her. I would recommend it with the proviso that it is not worn in the same position continuously but rotated through the different positions to prevent “pressure” (albeit gentle pressure) on the ears.

I have been using my Neck Sofa for about three weeks. I am a writer for a living, which means hours upon hours of sitting at a desk, staring at a screen, and having my body in the same position, with my arms in front of me. One wouldn’t think simply sitting could be so uncomfortable/painful, but it becomes very tiresome. With my Neck Sofa, I am able to enjoy comfort while continuing to work. The Neck Sofa has given me the ability to do the thing I love without severe neck/back pain. I’m not sure how I ever got along without my Neck Sofa.

When I travel I use Neck Sofa in the airplane. It makes me feel good! I could sleep deeply and with great comfort.
I also use Neck Sofa while sleeping in my bed, I feel that it makes me feel younger because I feel like my face is lifted.

Recently took my Neck Sofa on a trip and long drive in Australia. Both in the airplane, and as a passenger in cars. I was so impressed with the different ways I could change the position to match my needs. For example straight at the back of my neck, or switch to side for straight or slightly left or right relax. Since I started to use my Neck Sofa my sleep quality has never been better. Sometimes because of my long working hours I can’t get my eight hours of sleep as recommend. However my Neck Sofa truly make me sleep so well even on such short nights. I always wake up well refreshed and ready for a new day. My husband brought it to my attention while checking different neck supports online. Our son was starting to develop a condition of his head leaning forward. Our Chiropractor said it is a direct result from the time he spends looking down at his cell phone during the day.

The problem is very common these days that doctors have called it “Text Neck” and it effects young people and those that are constantly working on computers and of course cell phones.

Well, with a little bit of convincing and scolding my son, who is 15, has started to retrain how he holds and positions his phone. Our doctor is amazed how after a short period of about 7 months this pillow, along with his daily neck exercises, has helped our son to reverse his leaning head.

I would like to say that I get the greatest benefit from the Neck Sofa whilst sleeping. Due to having a broken neck and back, I am unable to sleep on either side of my body or my stomach. However, ironically I have to sleep on my back and that with my neck, I’m always in pain. To sleep I use a large memory foam pillow and then the Neck Sofa on top of that. (I use the large memory foam pillow for extra support with my back). It is lovely as the Neck Sofa cradles my neck and I have noticed that when I move my neck the Neck Sofa moves with it therefore always giving me the support I need. I have not woke once with a stiff neck since I have been using the Neck Sofa. Therefore, that alone was worth the wait of the Neck Sofa. Alternatively, I must admit that some of the positions are a bit uncomfortable due to the problems I have. The most beneficial times when I use the Sofa are in the regular position. Although I must admit once you do find which positions have the most benefit you do stay with them. All in all, I am very happy with the product and could not possibly imagine not having it now to help with getting comfortable at night.
